Charlottetown is the capital city of Prince Edward Island, and is called the Birthplace of Confederation after the historic 1864 Charlottetown Conference which led to Confederation.

Tours include sights of historic Charlottetown waterfront from the Hillsborough Bridge and community of Stratford offering a photo opportunity of the Charlottetown harbour and Charlottetown cityscape. Visit beautiful St. Dunstan’s Basilica, Trinity United and other landmark sites that are the foundation to this historic town.

Retrace the footsteps of the founding fathers who ascended Great George Street, leading to the legislative Assembly of PEI’s Province House, where the Charlottetown conference was held in 1864 – leading to the “Birthplace of the Canadian Confederation”.

This tour was very memorable and nice. Our tour guide and driver was Wonda Eshate, very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. He drove us in various country sites and villages which were very interesting. He even bought some special local cup cakes for us. His Van was big enough for our five Adults. Highly recommend.

We had a great guide in Wonda, who knows and loves his PEI. Thank goodness he did not give us long lectures but provided us with good information that made us better appreciate the sights, with some behind-the-scenes tidbits as well. He was a careful driver, was prompt and attentive but not intruding. And he even found me a canola field!
